Back from the Coast! Misty mornings with the cool ocean breeze. Beautiful blue horizons. Dominant, crashing and determined waves.. I don't know why I didn't tag along all those years of camping in Oregon, but visiting this place definitely needs to be an annual thing. There's just something about listening to the sound of the waves.. and being right there in the middle of it all; where the sandy bottom accomodates the incoming waves before they roll over themselves. Sarah Kay said it best, "There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away."
Grateful for lots of quality time with the fam, as well as some much needed self-reflection. Whenever I'm by the ocean, it makes me put my whole life back in perspective, and reminds me how much bigger God is than I am. His greatness, the beauty of His creation, and His love for us. Perhaps I need to be by an ocean more often. Hope you guys enjoy this visual diary!
