She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. - Proverbs 31:25
Finally a break to write. Gather my thoughts, and reflect. Chaotic, blessed and overwhelmed. Perhaps those are the best words I can come up with at this moment to describe how the Thread of Hope fashion bazaar went. Despite the chaotic start and setup, He truly did orchestrate this event, and went above and beyond our expectations in heaps and bounds.. and we couldn't feel more blessed and overjoyed. God is good. I'm glad we can continue to pass that hope onto the Dalits, as we ourselves are being filled with hope and the faith that nothing is impossible.
From the friends, family, sponsors (THE BOARD OF TRADE CO. & TODAY) and volunteers that helped out, attended, or played any part in this event, I am deeply encouraged, and can't thank you enough. (I know I've said this personally to some of you, but from the bottom of my heart, I'm truly thankful for each and every one of you.) Your time, support and contribution is greatly appreciated and acknowledged! Much love. Amy and Betty, we pulled it off!
It was so awesome to see familiar, old and new faces from all walks of life! To build community, share our hearts, and learn more about ours. Needless to say, that made my day and was the icing on the cake.
I'll keep this short and fill you guys in with our final numbers real soon! Let's just say.. the bazaar placed us past our halfway mark with our $10,000 goal! PTL. Here are some snapshots from the event. Hope ya like! Update soon :)

Looks like a blast there! I would have totally went to the henna booth, haha. I wish I had cash to check out the clothing racks :(
